First Gold Certified LEED College Campus in Missouri

The first phase for a new St. Louis Community College campus in Wildwood accommodates the diverse academic requirements of the school while providing students, faculty and the community an environmentally-friendly and energy-efficient facility. Resource efficiency is represented in every area of the campus; optimum energy performance is integrated throughout. This project broke new ground for the St. Louis Community College system as the campus has been built in one of the region’s greatest growth areas and reflects a commitment to resource efficiency. Features include T-shaped windows, preservation of natural grasses and vegetation, and cisterns.

The project was nationally recognized for "Outstanding Project" in Learning by Design, American School & University Gold LEED Certification.
