For this Team Tuesday, we are highlighting Michael Scott! Mike is a thorough and reliable design professional who solves tough problems, has excellent communication skills, and produces quality work. Below are some fun facts about, Mike.

















What is your biggest career accomplishment thus far?

My involvement in the design and construction of the Martin Luther King, Jr. Recreation and Aquatic Center in Atlanta, Georgia. As project PA, I had a hands-on role in all areas of the project, from Design Development to project completion. I am proud to have been a member of the team that brought Atlanta the beautiful building named to honor the highly esteemed Civil Rights leader.



Why did you choose your career path?

I was drawn to architecture because the career embodies the marriage of form and function.



What designer do you draw inspiration from?

Ken Yeang, I admire his ecological designs.



Favorite quote?

“Pray as if everything depends on you, work as if everything depends on God.” The quote is my ongoing inspiration.



Best trip/vacation?

The Caribbean cruise that my wife and I took in 2019 to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary.



What are you reading currently?

I am currently reading "Paul Robeson, A Biography" by Martin Duberman, a comprehensive look into the life of the renaissance man.



Something that nobody at work knows about you?

I love Sci Fi and am a big fan of Rod Serling’s “The Twilight Zone”.
