Associate Architect
​
The Role We Want You For
Cordogan Clark is looking to hire an Associate Architect to join our team in St Louis. This role is a full-time position for a licensed architect with 8 or more years of experience. The ideal candidate will be an active design participant within an award-winning architecture, engineering, and construction services firm.
​
Responsibilities include: Master planning, space programming, and facility planning support, development of design concepts and detailing into a complete set of construction documents, the coordination of components designed by engineers and other consultants, assistance in clarifying the design intent throughout the bidding and negotiation phase, and assistance throughout the construction phase including the approval of submittals and resolving construction conflicts. The position requires strong communication skills and the ability to coordinate work between our design team and others such as contractors, utility companies, and the authorities having jurisdiction.
​
This is a hands-on position that will require the ability to create and present design concepts and then subsequently lead the production of high-quality construction documents as needed for competitive bidding purposes. The role requires on-going project support throughout the bidding and construction phases. Our clients often require us to meet with them outside normal business hours, i.e., evenings and occasionally on weekends. The position may occasionally require travel (many hours in duration) to the client’s location or jobsite, and to spend nights in order to meet their expectations.
Specifics of Your Role

Assist Senior Managing Architects in all phases of project development.

Manage assigned project team from schematic design through construction utilizing firm’s standardized processes and software (Deltek Ajera & Microsoft TEAMS).

Provide a high level of client oversight, serving as primary client liaison to complete assigned projects on schedule, within budget, and with maximum client satisfaction.
-
Establish effective working relationships with clients, consulting firms and various departmental agencies to facilitate efficient project completion.
-
Responsible for the coordination of all project efforts, administrative and technical, to ensure the most efficient and cost-effective execution of assigned projects.
-
Work cohesively with architectural staff, engineers, and consultants to develop creative design concepts and manage project program to meet project goals and budgets.
-
Provide quality control and assurance of schematic design, design development and construction documents within architectural team and for each project.
-
Establish effective working relationships with clients, consulting firms and various departmental agencies to facilitate efficient project completion.

Assist in the development of team organization for presentations & interviews to prospective clients.

On-site construction administration and site inspection visits to assess the quality of the work.
Required Qualifications

Accredited degree in Architecture and licensure is required, with the ability to obtain Missouri and Illinois registrations.

Familiarity with BIM 360/Revit design platform.

Solid understanding of a wide range of computer applications used in a professional design office: Microsoft 365 suite of products, Adobe suite, Bluebeam, and familiarity with 3D programs SketchUp, Lumion, Enscape, etc.

Electrical Engineering Designer / Technician

The Role We Want You For
Cordogan Clark is looking to hire an Electrical Engineering Designer / Technician to join our team in any office location.
​
Candidate will be responsible for assisting the office’s managing electrical engineer in general system design, modeling and drafting duties and will work on designated tasks & coordinate work in progress with the team. Candidate should have the ability to demonstrate fundamental knowledge and understanding of electrical design techniques and building code requirements. The ideal candidate will have experience with Revit and AutoCad.

The Role We Want You For
Cordogan Clark is looking to hire a licensed Electrical Engineer to join our team in any office location or remotely from anywhere in the US. This position will be counted on to mentor and nurture the professional development of staff, as well as work on a variety of project types firmwide.
​
Candidate will be responsible for managing integration with architectural, structural, and mechanical groups and will work on multiple projects concurrently and coordinate work in progress between firm offices, as well as outside consultants. The successful candidate must have the ability to multi-task and possess excellent communication skills. Responsibilities include estimating project costs and project budgets; building system / code analysis and feasibility studies; the preparation of electrical system specifications; reviewing shop drawings and product submittals; attending project meetings; and job site inspections & coordinating field reports. Ideal candidate will demonstrate knowledge of diverse design work for electrical building systems including indoor/outdoor lighting, power distribution and device selections, fire alarm, tele/data & video, generator/ups/tvss and software analysis. A thorough knowledge and working understanding of all electrical system design in accordance with applicable design methods, codes, standards, and regulatory requirements is required.

The Role We Want You For
